Ecotrail to “Roman Bridge” – Lyubcha village

The trail starts from the center of Lyubcha and in the end of the village heads over a dirt road through arable fields and meadows. After walking 25-30 minutes a fountain is to be reached where the route turns left into a trail descending towards the valley of Osinska river.

Along the trail the remains of an old stone road leading to the bridge could be seen. The length of the route is 1.8 km, the altitude difference – 180 m so the walk from the center of village takes approximately 1 hour. It is believed that the bridge has been erected around III a.c. and it still keeps inscriptions in Latin. In the surroundings of Lyubcha village there are numerous historic findings including one of the symbols of ancient Egypt – the Scarabeus – part of an ancient necklace.
