The trail starts near the main road Batak – Dospat and the place is easy to find for its information boards and a pavilion. The Forest museum is a trail through a beautiful spruce forest with many information boards presenting data on the ecosystems and biodiversity in Beglik area.
A special note is made of the capercallie (Tetrao urogallus) – a flag species for the region, the human-nature interactions and the rules of conduct in the area. The total length of the route is 1.4 km. The trail passes through picturesque coniferous forest and ends up on the road going round Golyam Beglik water reservoir, which could lead you back to the starting point of the trail (app. 1 km).
